This oil field is located in the vicinity of Iran-Iraq borderline, 70 km to the north of Abadan and 60 km to the south-west of Ahwaz. The produced oil of this field is from Sarvak, Kazhdumi (Burgan), Gadvan & Fahliyan layers.
This field includes two individual fields: Kushk and Hosseinieh, which were explored in 2000 and 2002, respectively. After proving that these two fields were connected to each other, it was called “Yadavaran” together.
According to available new data, oil in place and recoverable oil have been estimated 30.6 and 2.6 respectively. Early produced oil was more than 50.000 barrels per day and currently its production has reached to 110.000 barrels per day from 49 production wells.
